PLAYER INFORMATION & REGISTRATION

The Rotary Club of Hendersonville’s second annual Pickleball for a Purpose tournament is a fundraiser benefitting K-12 teachers and graduating seniors in Henderson County, and brings together players from across Henderson County, including from Henderson County Parks & Recreation, Hendersonville Racquet Club, the YMCA of Hendersonville and other local pickleball groups.

Feeder tournaments in April and early May serve as qualifying rounds, with 1st and 2nd place finishers advancing to the county championship.

On April 29 from 5-8pm on Edneyville Elementary School’s indoor courts, Rotary will host an Open Tournament for individuals who may not play with a specific pickleball club or community.

Countywide competition will culminate in a Championship Tournament on May 16 from 8am-4pm on Edneyville Elementary School’s indoor courts.

Players will compete in three divisions: Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Women’s Doubles. Pickleball for a Purpose is a non-sanctioned event, meaning it is designed for fun and community – not official rankings.

All players are asked to contribute a one-time $25 registration fee with no fee for championship play. Your fees finance tournament expenses, ensuring that 100% of all sponsorship fees are dedicated to college scholarships, teacher grants and workforce grants for Henderson County students and teachers.
